Paul, if you sell your Nardi, consider getting one of Mike Lempert's wheels. His smallest diameter is 14.5" and he can do just about any combination of spoke design, diameter, wood type, and finish that you want for a price about the same as a Nardi. Ii have the downslant design (a Les Leston clone) that doesn't block the guages like the Nardi did, and it is much less slippery.

Lane,

I was just browsing his website. Great looking wheels, there are a couple there id be interested in. That being said... purchasing a wheel really isnt in the cards. Main reason being there is an entire project I have been waiting to tackle associated with my "wheel of choice". Id liek to swap out my steering column for that of an older beetle so that I eliminate the large black steering wheel boss and utilize something much closer to the original. I also would like the large diameter bolt pattern around the horn ring. I would need to purchase the older style turn signal switch and relocate the brights switch to the floor pan. Not so simple, unless someone tells me otherwise.

For now, If I can even trade for a larger diameter I will. We will see how the summer goes. Maybe its a project i can better get into in several months. Lets talk at Carlisle.
