Wanted: Trade 48's for 40's, Carbs

I have the CMC for sale lower in the posts, and it has a 1600 engine with Weber 48's. I'd like to trade someone even up- but here's the catch- I would want the new carbs first so I can swap them out at one sitting. I know it is a leap of faith- but if anyone has a set of 40's in good condition (meaning they need no work, just maybe a final adjustment) let me know and let's see if we can work out a deal.

I have a set of 40s. Took them off to put the 44 upgrade kit in them ($135 plus shipping. Mine are perfect. and yes, you can have the upgrade kit, which includes a full rebuild kit. Might as well put it in while it's out. How good are your 48s? Uf bit absolutely perfect, I just am not interested. Mine are excellent and I'd hate to trade for junk.

My mechanic just took them apart for cleaning- he says they are in good condition. He tends to not be real effusive- so I am assuming that means there was nothing he would fix. They are clean- I can say that one of the air filter bracket welds has come loose- but otherwise I see no issues. I can send pictures- or look at my Ebay ad and you can see some engine shots there.
