Wanted, unfinished kit

Ok, the money crunch is over and things are starting to line out. Thanks all for the advice and help.

I am now back in the market for another unfinished kit or a car that needs some love.

(I know it's blasphmy but dosn't have to be a speedster, anything interesting will do)

How about a 1966 Karmann Ghia Cabriolet that needs some finishing? Excellent shape except needs finish body work and painting. (just needs finish bondo/lead and painting - all new metal has been welded in by VW shop).

I'm not sure about getting it across the border, though.

I might have what you are looking for. I am currently building a CMC and have another one sitting in the back garage. It doesn't look to promising for me to get it started. It is pretty much a complete body in primer, shortened pan, and a lot of misc parts for it. If you are interested, shoot me an e-mail and I can provide details.

Alan M. posted a kit here awhile back that was unfinished based on a metalcraft pan. He sent me the number for the guy that owned but he has not returned my calls. Does anyone know what happened to that kit?

No car is EVERY finished so virtually everything is an option!

I have just posted my Street Beasts widebody for sale on the classifieds. This is a new car and I have not even taken delivery yet. I need to proceed to another project and sell this one. how unfinished? -- Mine needs interior carpet, a motor, seats recovered and the pedal assembly reinstalled (which i could do).

New front discs.. rears need adjusted or new shoes... a little spiderwebing on the clear and a scuff underneith on the front right.

So if you're looking for something like that... maybe scuff the gel and paint it. You'd finish it for about 14 I guess.

Jim, Nothing definate yet. No set prices as of yet. I was was hoping I could find something in the $6k range so I would have a some left over to finish one up. zLooks like I am going to have to buck up a little more. Wouldn't mind one in the $8K range but add another $1k on for shipping and I don't have any left.
