I bought mine from Vintage. They were quick and the crate, that has a $100 deposit is still here since it costs more to send back. They sent all the way to Canada and the cost was reasonable. I also ordered the rubber TOP and BOTTOM with mine. This was 2 years ago when I bought Fern, it came with a cracked windshield.

yes it was, i checked with other "members" who needed windshields
and put together a "group rate". I approached a windshield
wholesaler and asked how many speedster windshields they sell a year.
he replied 5-6. i asked what if i bought 10 now and the price got
much better. since then my "contact" sold his company and moved on
and started another wholsale company. the last time i checked the
windows he had were no bargain as he was now buying them through
south africa. the windows were made to order for him previously
in asia (much cheaper). if we want to try again and arrange a
"group rate" i'll give it a go. but it didn't work last time.
another variable (read above) is your location. if you live within
driving range of one of the builders you win. otherwise you have to
pay about $75 shipping in a special box that costs $25-$35. hence
the "close guy" eliminates the $100 shipping issue.--bruce
ps--i contacted a windshield mfg but i couldn't justify the 600
minimum order, sorry.
