As the wild onions in the back yard jumped almost 6 inches this past week, I was forced to mow the lawn for the first time this season..... Finished in a light drizzle....
Yeah, I have a weed patch off the patio that the wiener dogs have to fight through to go do their bid'ness. I may be breaking out the mower as well, at least for that patch.
It's 83, sunny, and humid here right now. Less than a week ago we hid a high in the 40s.
Well, that's just pathetic. I feel so bad for you . . . In a month or so when my weeds start growing, I'll let you know.
Only 63 in Tellico Village today and the sun did not make an appearance until late afternoon. Rain is in the forecast on and off until Sunday. Wild onions are showing up here and there too, but mostly in the beds. The good news is that the daffodils are making an appearance. Love 'em!
Went to the gym this morning wearing shorts and a sweatshirt.
Hit 60°F under the deck (where the sensor is) just after lunch And we got to take a nap out on the enclosed, unheated porch with the pups.
Whoo-Hoo!!
Got to find time to get those seats in - This melting will be over in a couple of weeks and the roads will be dry and ready for an early ride. Tomorrow, though, we'll be watching the two youngest "wild indians" and will probably take a beating playing on the Wii game. We had to hire in our oldest grandson (age 9) as a "consultant" (he works for Oreos) to help us set up our new Wii gaming system. What a hoot! He was, like, Zip! Zap! And had it all configured and attached to the internet for us in about five minutes.
Yeah, I opened the sunroof today, and the A/C came on in the car(auto climate control). It hit 60 here today as well. First time outside wearing a T-shirt, the sun was awesome!
