I can't believe that it took Vince 9 days before he added to a thread.

Pauly,
Is "Da Space" dedicated to what I think it izzz?

Why is this continuing? A while ago I asked a question about the A/C in a car listed for sale and was quickly admonished and my posts were removed for being "off topic."
It just seems a little strange to me.

Dude, this is marketing in the classified section.

While we're just waitin' around. . . which is better, a full tube chassis car or a pan based car?
Come on, somebody MUST have an opinion . . . ! ! !

A tube chassis of course! Does anyone have an old SOC badge they want to sell? T.C. Wanna sell yours? I'll trade you a new more kinder gentler one....Of course you'll have to wait till I get it.

TC, you know the politically correct answer to the aforementioned question as well as the consequence for going off topic here.
Butch is pan-based, swing-axle with a GB nose cone support and some other stiffening stuff to corral and control all his torque. There's more that could be done, but why tame it to tedium? I actually miss the the way the 48s were before they got ACE-civilized.
I got a real cool badge the other day, not an SOC by any stretch, but it had a Maltese Cross on it!

Aw, come on . . . a TINY discussion wouldn't KILL anyone, would it? Just a little something to pass the time while were waitin' . . . I was kinda wondering if MAYBE a tube chassis water cooled powered car wasn't somehow . . . superior . . . to say, a home built pan based VW powered ride.
Just wondering . . . you know . . . while I was waitin' . . . or we could ALWAYS discuss badges.
Think they'll ever reproduce the "corpse" badge . . . ?

Was that on Ebay? I think that I saw it there, but was too busy to get a bid in, in time, when I checked it again.

Yep.
A new wrinkle developed in my sale timeline. The countdown has been put off until Spring '06. It seems the arresting officer got himself in an accident and won't be available to testify let alone return to work until sometime in March.
This places all the 'must sell' consequences in limbo, again.

Watch this waste of space. It was fun wasn't it?
