Is this the same guy?

Oh boy - here we go again!
Where's that Terry guy with the peanuts! Oh, probably out tearing up the countryside roadways with Penny!
Please, will all you SAS guys step up to the plate and convince the rest of these fools that Steve's cars are great, and that the hang time is worth it...let's end this once and for all....
Gerd, yes I believe I'll have another single malt....neet

As I read all of this again I hear that song, " I get knocked down, I get up again ...."
Jim, I'm right here.
I've decided to go with the bud instead...
I'd like to suggest that before Theron allows a newbie to participate on the forum, the applicant must read Paul's piece on replicas and he/she must also agree, in writing, to refrain from discussing the following topics:
Air-cooled vs. Water-cooled
Flared vs. Classic
Brand A vs. Brand IM
Replica vs. Real
East Coast vs. West Coast
Using the term: "I'm just sayin..."
He/she should be encouraged to post about sex, religion and politics and must agree to add to Devil-Man's photo album.

Spoken by a guy who has nothing better to do with his "Hang" time but watch a bunch of scantily clad women walk in the sand on Maui..

Tough job, Vince, but someone has to do it; you and Gerd were distracted by the SAS.
Here's my SAS Car, ask Lane about it.

Terry. I'm surprised that you responded! I thought you would be out with your metal detector digging up all those gold nuggets there finding up your way.

Troy,
I stopped looking for gold after I met my wife.

Well played, Terry!
Terry---does that also apply to:

Speedsters vs. Spyders

Coupes vs. roadsters?
Discs vs. drums?
Gas heaters vs. heater boxes?
Radio or not?
New vs. "starter" Speedsters?
Bentley vs. Haynes?
Cheetos vs. chips?
Soon we won't have anything at all to talk about!
What a concept!
Jack,
You forgot boxers or briefs...
Or
Type I vs. Type IV

In the spirit of how these discussions usually wind up, how about the Hatfields vs the McCoys?
Back to the original question - If it's water-cooled vs air-cooled you're interested in, several of the manufacturers will build either way. I know IM and Beck have done water-cooled cars, although most are air-cooled. It's a matter of preference and budget.
WAIT! WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME? WHY AM I BRINGING US BACK TO THE ORIGINAL TOPIC? ISN'T THAT AGAINST THE LAW OF THREAD DRIFT? AND WHY AM I SHOUTING?
Oh well, back to my wine.

Pole Dance vs Lap Dance
Frontal Lobotomy vs Bottle in Front of Me
Pitcher vs Catcher (not that there's anything wrong with that)
Odd problem versus Even problem....
Pat .... What you need to know (besides that we're all nuts) is that this subject has been beat like an old rug and we are fun'n... Alan
Well, if this stuff were eliminated, it would cut down on the banter a bit. You guys are right though, some of these topics are discussed over and over and over. If the new guys would just do a litte research, there is plenty of information here. I'm just saying.....
Just to expand for the Newbies: You can do a search for a specific topic in the Forums and get a LOT of questions answered and a LOT of excellent info. You MAY have to be a member (good idea anyway).
Theron: Maybe a couple of lines to that effect on the Newbie's section ?
Reading the above comments on Newbie
Good points, Dave.
However, if a Newfie looks first at least he/she should be able to start a post by saying that they had done their research and would like to add or comment.
This guy has posted once and posed his question where anyone would assume he did no research on this forum
New blood is always welcome, just don't be an idiot.

What's the best way to change the air in my tires? How often should this be done?
Jack, Coupes, cabriolets and Speesters have different time periods for changing the air in the tires and can vary also between makes. IM's are delivered with Western Canadian air, which is considered one of the finest airs available. OTOH, SAS cars use Smokey Mountains' air, which is somewhat more 'smokey'. Southern California cars are impacted significantly by 'El Nino' winds during certain times of the year. I may decide to go with nitrogen! ;-)
.....and if you introduce hot air ( there's a lot of this available herein) into your tires the overall road force weight will be reduced hence improved gas mileage.
Thanks guys---I was wondering about this and knew I could count on you to steer me in the right direction! The info available here is really amazing---and I mean that sincerely. Charles and Alan--you are definitely the "answer men"---thanks!
Jeez----who knew? Is the Kerswill pump used for this service or is there a better tool for this job?
