I think the car wash is a good first start on trying to find if there are any leaks. I agree with Terry and Gerd in doing more than just the "car wash" test. This is a good test of watertightness for the upper portions of the car - around windows, vents, etc. I am not sure of the best way to test the underside of the car except to drive it on wet roads in the rain and see what happens. The SAS cars are not VW based so the undersides are configured a little differently.

I do know that driving the car on a trailer in continuous rain from Knoxville to Carlisle did not expose any leakage. I have driven it many times in very bad rain without any leakage.
Mine passed the "waterproof test" at Tail Of The Dragon this year too. That was a perfect test with rain and sopping wet roads and the VS passed perfectly. I have to thank John at JPS Motorsports for spending his time with me at Carlisle this year to go oner the main water entry point (s). Mine was right in front of the rear tires where the tires sprayed the water right into that pocket between the pan and the fiberglass body. I got a good "do" on it and totally stopped the water-----period. My floor was totally d-r-y in front and behind the seats. I was very happy to have solved that issue.

I totally understand that Gerd is happy to now have a dry car.

Sad that this is something to have to fix ---all mine took was $8 worth of black silicone plus knowledge of where to put it!
"...was $8 worth of black silicone plus knowledge of where to put it!". Knowledge....
If there is a fix that would benefit others please post your findings in the "Knowledge" section; or at least post a general thread with a photo so affected members can "add to favorites". I did check your last postings and the "Knowledge" section for any entries. Thank you, SS.
