Geez, Nic.......nobody replied to this.
I have a CMC flared body (white) and used Frost King door weather stripping on both front and rear covers. 3/4" wide by 1/2" thick. I used white to match the body, but they also offer black or gray. Got mine at Home Depot. The attached picture shows the engine cover gasket in place (white on white).
If you need Frost King part numbers, I probably have some stuff left in the original baggies and, now that the temps here are FINALLY above 2 degrees I can get the garage door open again and dig them out. Let me know.

Nic another option alot of people are using on the engine compartment, is to use the rubber buttons that are used on real 356's. There are 4 of them and they allow more air around the lid to help cool the engine and feed the carbs. I bought mine from JPS. Eddie
