I've just finished rebuilding the Weber 32/36DFAV that was on my Speedster. Exhause measurements had shown that above 1200-1400 rpm, the engine ran well and had a good mixture. However, the engine wouldn't idle below 1100 rpm because the mixture became to lean.
I'm sure the jets are clean now, but before I reinstall the carb, is there any way to determine the size of the existing idle jets in case they turn out to be to small and I need to try the next larger size?
