Just curious what your guy's speedsters are weighing in at and what you are getting for gas mileage?
About 1900 pounds, and 24mpg with a 2332 at 3800rpm which is 75mph. I lose about 0.5mpg with the gas heater on.
The car weighed in at 1800 pounds and just recently delivered 34.6 mpg average on a trip to Carlisle, Pa. and back (about 1,100 miles). The trip to Carlisle was for the Import and kit/replicar show and, more importantly, a gathering of mostly right coast Speedster owners.
To clarify, IM's and Subbys weigh a bit more than the VS, JPS, Beck CMC/FiberFab these weigh in about 1400-1500 lbs.
Pre-Carlisle weight was 1,100 lbs. and I anticipate 25-28 mpg highway on idle jets; the way I drive, it'll be closer to 15-17 mpg with a 2366 cc engine and 3:88 fourth gear.
