Let the fun begin!! I stopped by Vintage Motorcars yesterday to see my speedster body that had just arrived from the painter. It looked great in that wonderful slate gray color. After a year, I'm starting to see progress and the light at the end of the tunnel. This Subaru powered speedster should be a hoot the drive. I'm looking forward to getting together with the gang at SLO in June. Greg says he will push to get it done. Can't wait to fire it up and hit the road.

The color is great, but it appears to be sitting up kinda high. Might wanna reduce the ride height a bit.
I'm here all week, folks!
What Lane said- I've always thought Speedsters should sit just a little lower. And I don't know about that wheel choice...
Boy, that's a slick paint job!

Lane and ALB It's a new look Greg talked me into. I was hoping for better wheels too ........ LOL But it's got IRS and a Subaru on the way. I'm sure Greg will get it lowered to the point where all will be happy under the Clown Tent.
Thanks Michael !! it should be nice when finished. It's 3 weeks until Maui time. Would be great to see you again.
Looking forward to seeing you!
You are going to love the color. I get so many compliments on mine. Team Slate Grey!
Wow. The grey really works! It’s very understated and brings out the beauty of the body without being too “flashy”!
@Butcher Boy- Any updates?

Yes ! I talked with Greg the first part of March when I went down to see the body. He said he will try to get it done by the first of June. I hope that happens, I'm signed up to go to the SLO event that weekend. I have my room and am looking forward to being there. While on vacation now, I got hold of John from Outfront Motorsports to talk about the motor. Greg had ordered 3 Subaru motors to be built. I'm sure one of them was mine and I know another is being built for Julie for her speedster. John and I talked about options in the build and I went for a stroker 2.6L Subaru Motor. I also wanted a bit of color in the engine compartment so we got that settled too. So things are moving along and I'm excited. I know Greg is swamped but he is doing the best he can to get cars built. Hope mine is one of them come June.
