Keep an eye on the 'Events' thread for any discussion on planned Speedster events/cruises. Carlisle is a national event for kit cars and draws a HUGE crowd. The SOC contingency is typically the largest group there. Awesome show!

The West Coast Cruise in San Luis Obispo (see 'Events') is a much smaller version of Carlisle as it is primarily local SOC owners members. This gathering is typically 20 cars (or so) with a majority driving from SoCal (LA, Orange county, San Diego county).

Here is a video from last year's West Coast Cruise...

We also have more frequent local cruises through the canyons and mountains of SoCal. These are usually every other month year-round.

Not sure where you're located but here is a link to a list of car events/cruises in SoCal. You will see that there is something going on every day of the week, year-round!

Hope to see you at one of our cruises.

This Knott's Show was pretty boring, parked all day on a blacktop parking lot. Cobra kits ruled the day. The SOC crew wanted to drive their cars, not gawk at them and talk minutiae detail of proper this & that. This was 2004!

The next year the group decided to meet someplace more interesting, meet and greet in the morning, drive to various destinations in the afternoon, eat drink & party at night. That's how it's been ever since!

Been pretty busy lately, but I'll put together a cruise for Palomar Mountain in a couple of weeks. A bunch of us meet at Hwy 76 & I-15, then cruise up the mountain and back down by Henderson Lake for lunch. We usually get 7-8 SOCers on this cruise.
