I was going to take 49 all the way down to Oakhurst (south entrance of Yosemite), then 41 down to SLO. Maybe I'll take 25 on the way back up.
Any thoughts on Rt 49 & 41?

I feel like we west coasters are being outdone by Carlisle on the shirt front so here is a custom t shirt idea. I was able to make up this polo shirt with text for $65 bucks. Its a 6 shirt minimum. Did I spell Porsche right?

It all depends on what time you're headed out.
SR49 to SR41 is fine and SR41 to SLO is easy as well. SR41 will take you through the heart of Fresno and depending on the time of day it may be pretty warm/hot. SR41 just south of Fresno is a well paved two lane road and heavily traveled by semi-trucks so it can get slow and a little crowded. Once you get to Fresno SLO is only 3 hours away.

Are we driving up The One on our trip? I'm bummed the bridge in Big Sur is out, but it'd be nice to drive up and see the most beautiful cul'd'sac in the world (at least until the Fall when they re-open the bridge).
That is a real bummer. I'm not sure how far you can go. Ragged Point maybe? We just may take a day trip up to Monterey and Carmel.

News Flash!!
I just received an email from the hotel (Quality Suites) regarding our blocked rooms. Apparently, 3 rooms dropped off after the cutoff of May 1st per our agreement, but my contact has agreed to reinstate them until this Friday.
For those who procrastinate, now's your chance to join us at the hotel!

@Terry Nuckels and @Ryan (formerly) in NorCal might be close to you. Maybe one of them can pick it up or you could take it to them. Otherwise if you send it to me I can take it to SLO. You'll just have to package it up real good to keep it from getting damaged. Probably best to separate the car from the box and wrap it then flatten the box so it can be reassembled.
