Hey @Rick99GSX Ricardo, I'm headed out around 8:00 Friday morning. I usually just shoot over 680 to 101 and get in around 2:00 to help out. If you and Vanessa want to meet up we can possibly reroute and go through Hollister, take the airline highway to King City and stop for lunch at Pier 46 by Paso Robles. Anyone else want to join in?

I'm in.

Shrimp tacos behind the surf shack after work? At say, 3:15 or so?

@Bob Hampton and @Rick99GSX, Bob, we can meet you at the Chevron station. I'll post an ETA once I figure travel time. I hope you like a spirited drive 'cause that's the only way to do the Airline Highway...

Okay, Ricardo, I'll meet you and Vanessa at the Leisure Town Rd exit Friday morning at 9:00. We'll head down to Gilroy via 80 - 680 - 101 and head up 25 to meet up with Bob around 11:30. Then we'll head down 25 to King City and down 101 to Pier 41 Seafood. Should be there by 1-1:30 for lunch. Okay @slofuzz Scott?

I'll join you all! I have to figure out what time I need to leave to meet you there. If anyone would like to join me further up, you're welcome.

I posted in the West Coast thread the below. Here are my current route plans. Obviously, once I meet you all I'll stick with the caravan.

Route A winds down the levees of the Sacramento Delta, and across islands via bridges and even a ferry before winding down to Mount Diablo. From there, it's the 101 to the famous State Route 25.

325 miles over 7hrs (but if the ferry takes too long, it's easy to skip. Same with Mt Diablo.)

Route A

Route B takes us through the farm belt of California, avoiding the 5. It picks up Hwy 25 as well. No ferries, islands, mountains or levees. But it is faster. Thanks @Sacto Mitch for help winding down the state off of the 5.

6hrs over 300 miles

Route B

Ryan,

Things have browned out pretty quickly around here, but there may be some hints of green out there.  Either way, it's a great little side trip.  Be sure to check out the old historic barn on the property.

Our cruise will take us right by the turn to get into the ranch not to mention the southern portion of the ranch is near another portion of the cruise.

Says by appointment only. Looks like a nice stop.

Right, I've been reaching out to local vineyards for my own adventures and I've been speaking with the GM at SMR. She's open to us stopping by on Friday afternoon on the way to lunch if we'd like. Several vineyards / ranches have opened invited me to their grounds for some full moon night photography after you old timers go to bed. I'm going to squeeze every ounce of adventure from this weekend.

If no one else is interested, that's totally fine. I'll probably break off the caravan to stop in for a few minutes to check out the property before rejoining you all at lunch.
