Last week a close friend ( note: Electrician) helped me start the wiring. What an absolute rush watching each system come on line. Last week we got the taillight ,rear turns working. watching those lights flash correctly was like seeing my child being born.
Today we finished the front headlights, front turns, and running lights.
I heard my baby speak, we turned the engine over ( although I'm not quite ready to fire it. we heard the horn honk ( crappy little squeeker of a Pep boys horn, too girly sounding, gotta get something with more character). Started wiring gauges should complete all this next week.
By the way he did some alterations to Kirks fuse block. Didn't like that some hots came into the bottom, and some into top of fuses. We rewired so that the whole top was hot, and the power fed down thru fuses to lower level and fed to lights, switches, horn and other devices out of the lower row off the block.
What a rush, "Its alive.....It's alive !!!!!
