What do think about this color?

I love that color. Very unique & classy.

NICE......I saw a real 356 redone in that color (this one might be real too?), and it is just dark enough to show the great lines of the car, and it looks like a proper color for the period. Very NICE.

Gee, that's Stone Gray. Scott Sloan has that on his super clean IM 56 Club Racer/Outlaw. There was a Roadster at IM in that color. It wasn't there when we visited though. Good color. I have shots of that on a an early Speedster and on another twin Grille Roadster. It's also the color of Mike Wiggns' IM Speedster GT that was in Excellence a year or two ago. Sept 03, I think. Another place to see a nice 57 GT clone in that color is on the 356 R Site, Events, and the East Coast meet in 04... at least a dozen great shots of that car in that Stone Gray. FWIW, it is a correct color.

It was my close 2d/3rd pick on colors. Very sharp and retro.

Yes that is a real one . The picture was takin at Crystal Cove Ca. They have a car show every Saturday starting at 7am. I was there at see this stunnig car. Many real Vert D were in addendance.

I keep the issue of "Excellence" with the Wiggen's IM feature, along with the one featuring the black GT in my nightstand, so I can look at those cars before drifting off into the best dreams.....

Seriously- Stone Gray is the bomb.

I think Speeders look cool in all colors except one ----which is so bad I even thoiught a real 56 looked like a poor kit until I was told the error of my ways. And no I am not sharing my opinion as to what color it was except to say there was not a one in site at the South Or wine county run last Oct.

Whew, thought you were going to finger me! I bet it is that purple haze that Porsche introduced in late 56. Actually it has become quite a cult color.
