I am interested in finding out what my car is worth.
It is a CMC originally built in 1994 and redone in 2008. Here are the specs on it.
Vinyl Interior from vintage Gex 1776 engine with dual webbers, 901 4 speed transmission. Please ask any questions. It runs great as my dad is a mechanic and keeps it running perfect. I may have to sell it to help pay for medical costs.

Mat, I've bought, resto'd built and sold various CMC's so I'll give you a ball park number to shoot for.
Nice looking VS interior,( the inside door handles are reversed) 1776 w/ Webers is adv. a desirable combo and the tranny make it interesting for a decent ride provided the body, paint and chassis etc. are in good condition.
With the current values being somewhat in a down turn, a used VS can be purchased in the $14.5k to $18k plus range.
CMC"s are in most cases slightly behind in overall value and it's not the best time of year to sell, so I would assume that for your speedster figure in $12-$14k. ~Alan

Spider web cracks in gel coat are real pain to repair. They must be completely "dremelled" out and filled in. Filling them as is will not work for long. This would require complete repaint as red is difficult to match. Are all the trim pieces actually missing (hood handles, bumpers, side strip, below door deco strip)? A classic body without them looks naked. Top, Tonneau, side curtains? Plus where its located influence value to potential buyer (could be added $2k shipping cost if on wrong coast).
I'd just install the missing heat shields in the engine compartment. And maybe find a pair of bumpers and brackets on the Forum. A quality paint job will be $1-3k and the prospective owner may not want red. Same with the tonneau - they may want same color as interior. If you are going to drive it a tonneau is nice - it keeps sun and prying eyes off the interior. For sure forget the radio!
I need to revise my earlier post, it was along day on the road for me, I'm getting old etc. hence I erred.
In consideration of the spider cracks, sans side curtains, decos, hood handle, bumpers etc. that brings it into the $9,500 range.
I would go with Wolfgang's thoughts do the bumpers and heat shields

I happen to have the new black nylon tonneau and unused bumpers but left coast shipping would be costly .~Alan
Click on the Library tab and print off or view appropriate pages in the '84 CMC Build Manual. It has measurements for placing all the bumper brackets. I'd get 4 VW bug bumper gromments (think I used for 68-70) and use those where you cut opening in the body. Looks more finished than the raw cut FG plus it gives you some wiggle rooms if cut isn't perfect.

If you like the PORSCHE script - I'd get now and drill holes for it now before you have car painted --- just in case a drilled hole or 2 is off. Script on nose is rather a pain due to curvature. Can Silicon them on - easy to remove later.

On the heat shields - do you have 2 FG pieces in very back installed (see build manual) - you cam make a pattern for side pieces from cardboard and cut from 1/16" aluminum or even aluminum house trim wrap. And then use a VW bus "H" shaped engine gasket to fill gap and seal.
