WARNING----DO NOT do any business with Serrano from the samba. He is in hot water with a bunch of his customers. Normal wait is one year to get parts. Just what I have heard.

As for dealing with Tiger he is way cool and very helpful. FYI he is the guy John Steele/JPS uses for his upscale exhausts.
Darren-

I guess it's "Bash the Vendors Week". There's nothing at all wrong with buying parts from Serrano's. I've been happy with Steve Houston's (Serrano's) service (and yes, I HAVE done business with him over very long distances). If anybody has waited a year for parts, then there's something else at work. There are many vendors absolutely revered on this and other sites that have unbelievably bad customer service. Serrano's is actually pretty good given the ACVW frame of reference.

As to the question at hand--I got an A1 sidewinder three years ago, based on George Brown's photos, and a discussion with Tiger (who is also a great guy, BTW). Serrano wasn't selling them yet, but I paid twice what Steve is selling them for now. 1-5/8" is a great size for a 2110, and Tiger is making a heater box in that size as well now (this would have saved me a fortune on a gasoline heater if I'd have had access to it in 2005).
I just recently took delivery of a set of A-1 Sidewinder ceramic coated 1-5/8" headers and SS muffler from Serrano's. Delivery time was 14 days and the price was great. No problems with delivery or customer service. The only problem that I noticed was the width of the headers, which needed to be an extra 1/4" to nicely fit my stroker 2180cc. However, some extra thought on assembly and prying got the headers installed. Looks great from the rear, and sounds nice also.
