I tried to add a close up picture of the wheels but the site would not let me because I am not a donor?? Anyway, attached is a old photo that I added a couple years ago..
Do you know what the bolt pattern is of the Porsche Fuch wheels? I can probably take my current wheel off and measure the bolt pattern of what I have now..
Thanks,

Thanks

Jeremey,

Those are nice wheels on your car right now, the polished FUCHs are a great choice regardless.

Are you running wheels adapters or are your rotors/drums drilled. Those look like Chevy wheels with the tight five lug Chevy pattern used on the small trucks and SUVs.

Of course I really can't tell much from the pics, just wonderin' cause they don't look like the Porsche pattern used on the 356C and up.
I just took one of my wheels off and measured with a caliper the bolt pattern and I get 114.3mm(4.5") so maybe it is 5X115?? not sure but not close to the 5X130.
There are no spacers. bolts are coming directly from drums.. Looks like im screwed!!
I am not a big fan of these wheels but it looks like im stuck with them..
Just head on over to here:

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/cat.php?id=25

And offer to trade them for a set of drums drilled for the Porsche pattern. Folks are always looking for Chevy drilled drums/rotors and always have the same drilled for Porsche.

Even if you sell them outright as a set with the wheels then BUY a set drilled for the Porsche.

You're never stuck with anything when it comes to VWs. EVERYONE buys/ sells/trades these days on The Samba.

Luck!

TC

Have you already purchaced the Fuchs? If not I have a great set for sale. The are 16" 5x130 replica in 7" fronts and 8" rears (both have Hankook Ventrus 205/40 R16 low profile tires for and would sell them for a reasonable price). I had them on my 1SXE-TUB but switched to 17" BBS LM. I use 1.5" wheel spacer/adapters from VW 4x130 to 5x130 (not for sale). let me know if you or anyone else would be interested in this set.
