Typical cheap ones that everyone has are 15x4.5 or 15x5.5. CIP1 has some newer cast ones in 17x7 (ET40), not sure who else has them. Iozzio Wheels or Airkewld has the expensive Iozzio forged versions in 17x5, 17x7, 17x8, 17x10, 18x7, 18x8, and 18x9.5 in various backspacings. Avant Garde's Ruger Classic wheels are a similar design in 19x8.5, 19x11 to fit the 996, 997, and Cayman.

If you want small diameter but wide wheels, you're stuck with finding a set of original porsche wheels.
I'm looking 5 X 130 pattern wheels. These are for the Yellow widebody, which currently has 4 bolt hubs. The wheels that are on the rear now, are 11 X 15 the fronts ar 9 X 15. The mounting surface to the back of the rim lip is 4". I will have to use adapters and spacers to fill the space if I go with those 17 X 7 wheels, which are 5.5" from the mounting surface to the back of the rim lip. The width of the current rear tires is 11" and the fronts are 10".

So I am looking for some thing that won't cost me an arm and a leg to make this car's wheels look good.

Gordon,
I might be interested in those 16 X 8 wheels. What is the distance from the mounting surface to the rear lip? What kind of shape are they in and how much do you want for them?

I looked at tons of wheels when doing DR Choy's car. We went with a 19x11 and 19x9.5 as our starting point, and then modified them to the specs I needed. Seems like that was about the average for 911 Turbo aftermarket wheels in 19", in 18" they were mostly 18x8 and 18x10, same widths for 17" wheels too.
For about $200 per wheel you can make them just about any width or offset you want via WeldCraft's services.
