Hello all,
I am a newbie and have been reading with great interest all of the knowledge you all have. So I am now asking for some more. I am just getting into the speedster thing although I have wanted one for a long time. I am looking to purchase one in the near future. If I could ask you guys to give me some input on the following for sale. It is at Executive Motors in Eugene, OR. It can be seen at the following address: executiveauto.com/inventory.htm
I would appreciate any and all comments.

Thanks,

Brian,

The flared speedsters do not bring what a standard body speedster does, unless it is a very custom build then then it can top out near $20k This dealer "C" flared fendered car you mentioned appears to be a CMC aka Classic Motor Carriages . It looks to be an older build, dash looks a bit funky toward the ends, appears to have worn leather seats, the carpet looks wavy and loose, top looks loose and fits poorly, the engine bottom looks as if it were recently steam cleaned. It is over priced by $4,000 + -...

There are quite a few decent speedsters that become available for sale on a regular bases.

Use this as a rough price guide
Incomplete project speedsters run in the $3k to $7k range

* Used road worthy CMC speedters tend to command $8k to 10k

* Used Vintage or JPS are nice speedsters and can run in the $14k
to $21k range.

* IM (used)can command between $11k and $25k
Wow.....
Thanks for all the input. I really think this site is going to help me a lot. It's great to see guys like you willing to help out a newbie. Hopefully I won't be one for too long. I'll keep looking. However I really do like the look of the flared fender. If anyone has a great deal on one let me know.

Thanks again,
Brian
