That's DRJeff's burgundy CMC! It has some custom tasteful fiberglass done to it over years - like 911 look lightly flared fenders and raised front turn signal area.
We can't tell from the Florida assigned vehicle identification number (VIN). Does the FL title have any added info? - perhaps they can provide the Certificate of Origin used to initially register the car. You might be able to get a copy of the FL title since AL doesn't provide ones for older cars. CMC's were produced in Miami Fl so good chance it is a CMC.
Tell tail signs:
Cast aluminum hibachi style one piece grill (early IM used the same)
Vintage labeled gauges (could be white or black with chrome or chrome bezels) - other gauges were available/used
Padded rubber dash trim pieces (3 plus eyebrow)
CMC Classic SPEEDSTER badge on hood handle and/or steering wheel
CMC build plate with invoice # (if builder applied it)
The flared "California" Speedster is unique to FF/CMC
