I used the LN cylinders. After about 20k they seem to be everything they are said to be.... engine runs cool at the heads, makes a lot of HP, I like it.

Would I spend the $$$ to do it again? Yes I would...JE pistons, LN Nickasil cylinders.....ceramic lifters, pent roof case, CE heads, etc etc....

And yes, Charles at LN is great to work with and is extremely helpful and knowledgable.....I higly recommend him and their product(s) as well as the collateral work done such as this article....
"Is that what you recommend for your Type IV engines?"

No- Its what I MANDATE..

Meaning IF you have one of my engines of DIY kits and don't run the oil- we won't even talk if you have an issue!(ok, thats a bit of an exaggeration, BUT I do take this very seriously and will slap the wrists of those too dense to listen!)

Today it is possible to pour "liquid death" into your engine. Brad Penn is the only oil that has exceeded my expectations in the 30+ months we have been doing oil research, virtually testing every oil available in the US and even some from Europe.
