While I have never gotten out of a space capsule I imagine it wouldn't be the easiest to get out of. Especially in that well tailored suit. And I would have to equate the Speedster hardtop with the soft top because that wasn't the easiest to get out of either. So my answer is D.
Fiero's, you would put your left palm down on the door sill and roll, out of the car.

Actually our hardtop was considerably taller than the soft top and we quite enjoyed the interior space while travelling.....and it was easier to get in and out.
Are you planning on one on the roadster?

No. I just did it on a lark for the Speedster because Carl Berry got such a good deal on two of them I couldn't resist. It fit fairly well from the get go and just needed about a 1/2" cuff built onto the bottom end of the rear of it. I never did get a headliner into it and it was a bit noisy...but very roomy. The roof on the Roadster is fairly robust as you know so other than the cool factor, there's no real need.
550 with soft top. Had to have it up to drive from NM to CA through snow/rain and blowing sand. Limitation was that entry and exit it had to be opened completely. It was still a memorable ride though.

I get it when I was building my car in 2013-14 wow time has flown, I had scheduled a hardtop but the build was more complex being the first full subie with the new gas tank and this added more time and I added more options so I axed it. Unfortunately at this time IM is no longer willing to build one unless it is a new build so that ship has sailed but my car sleeps in a garage in any case and as you know the soft top is a cut above.

Correct sir!
I used to enter and exit with my Spyder top up. Way tougher than a Speedster(I've ridden in a couple with the top up).
Difficulty level of 550 open top: 4
Difficulty level of 550 with a top up: 9
Difficulty level(after a few beers): 11 or maybe 12
Not to mention the ever present ageing factor.

Suck it up, Laner.... :-) yer not near mid 70's yet, eh ? More pain will surely come if you behave yourself.
Can't wait.
I find getting in or out of my Speedster is a LOT easier than my friends Lotus Elise.
The Lotus has these very wide sills that stick way up above the seat height by 4"+ so you have to inch your butt across until you fall/collapse into the (not very well padded) seats. Once you're in, it's great - you want to just stay in there, but then you have to crawl your way back out, too. Very classy for a lady passenger or driver. 🙄
God help you in a side impact. You'll be very well protected, but you might have to to exit out through the side window.
Or use the bottom air bag for lift a la 007. Too claustrophobic for my liking.
You wouldn't like the race car. It's not hard to get in, but takes a bit of effort to get out. Comparatively, the Spyder with top UP is easier.
Ray, you'd really hate it, it's snug in there.
