What size tire do you guys run?

Found a dang roofing nail in one of my very new tires... And a small cut on the inside of another tire. I hate repairing tires on performance cars. They are new tires (march), but they are generic. I'd throw BFG or Michelins on... Gimmie some ideas! Thanks

On my CMC IRS I have 175/70-15.

This is a hard to find size. Vredestein makes them.

It is about the same outer diameter as 165/78 or 80.

After reading all the warnings about driving on old tires I bought these to replace my old but unused Michelin XVS tires in the same size. I hope to sell the XVS tires to someone who will not drive their car much.

My buddy who runs a discount tire store said he can only get a 165/65/15 in Khumo... So a car that 25,000,000 were made is tough to find a tire for.. That's cute. Thanks guys!

Planning on running 175R65 Pirelli on my nonwidebody CMC..... Have 2 on it already as the front tires rotted off the rims....Litteraly.

I think 175/65 is a size used on Minis. This is easier to find.

I wanted the 70 aspect ration to more closely match the diameter of the original 165/80.

Yeah the 175/65/15 would be the way to go. It's only a 1/2 inch taller than 165/65's and a lot easier to find.

I'm close with 165's, wonder if 175's will rub the quarter panel?

That's gonna be close... You can't trust the numbers on tires.example: Everybody's 225/50/17 is different ya know...

I've got Michelin 165SR 15's on the car but have had Yokohama 185/65 15's recommended to me by a member here who remarked that the Yokohama's made for an impressive improvement in handling while still making it in the wheelwells.
