Im like Jeromie. after ordering the kit and it getting nearly thrown from the trailer by the hauler , Im told just east of Phenox in Febuary of 2000. I realy wish had CAUGHT A FLIGHT to Cananda.

but it made it here still in one peace and arived on St Pattys day with soaked door pannels and carpet ,a missing drivers window.and no rear bumber. Kirt sent me a bumber. no replacement window and no eyebrow for the dash

The good news is I knew from the very begning i was going to sell the windshield and top .

I re did all the carpets and made new drauz door pannels with the saddle bags and just dug into it for 2 years unill I ran ut of things to fix including re cutting the trunk floor and making it able to carry a full size spare.
I never got it to the street with the T-4 but when I got the 1600 in it. Nothing but fun from then on, smooth solid quiet and flawless, not real quick but very comfortable and sure footed.

I realy was a bit tearful and reverent. for a few days I have wanted one of these cars for over 30 years. I finally had one.

The first time Mr Vestal drove it I could tell he wanted to buy it. It handles better than any bug I have ever driven. and is qite rezistant to turbulance Only one thing needs to be fixed at this time a spring inside the driver seat squeaks every now and then,
