What were the "original" speedster colors

I know this paint topic is always near and dear to our hearts. Everybody seem to have one thing or another to say about paint colors. But someone must know what the "original" paint colors were. Silver, red, and maybe white? Was black an original factory color? I just bought this 1:43 scale yellow 356 speedster with a cute camper off ebay and was wondering if this is the original color.....
