I am interested in your opinions as to value of a CMC speedster which has a 1915cc engine and two carbs. The doors don't fit well and the gauges don't all work. It does not have the porsche configuration gauges...but has all the CMC gauges. The oil pressure guage is now black and the others are white faced. It has a rubber rimmed steering wheel (probably came with the kit. Chrome wheels with chrome caps (not porsche crest), and Michelin tires.

It does run well and looks pretty good from 10ft

Please advise.

Thanks,

The value of the car has little to do with the size of the engine, the style of the gauges, the steering wheel, the wheels, hubcaps or tires. The fact that the doors don't fit well is probably the only salient point that you raised. What matters is how well the car is built. Building a car is not the same as assembling something from an Erector Set. If the car is not well built by a knowledgeable person, the value is little more than a pile of scrap.
