I recently have run into a problem with left turns. For some reason when taking left turns in low gears, like taking off from a stop to turn left, the car starts bucking and cutting out?! It's like when your teaching someone how to drive a stick and they can't quite get the gas/clutch thing. Nearest I can figure is it's an ignition thing. I checked the distributor, points etc... and all seems OK. Has anyone else run into this? The thing that reall has me stumped is it's only on lefts, it doesn't do it on rights.

Lane, I was thinking something like that was going on too. Get this, the bands holding the battery cable came loose and the insulation had worn through so when I was turning left it was shorting out, or something like that, my wrench figured it out.
I've had his Miata all day and running errands in it, it's fun to drive but is ain't no Z3 Roadster! I felt pretty inferior around the higher end hairdressers.
