Has anyone installed the new EMPI (Weber knock-off) dual carb kits? What's the verdict? Are they any good?

I installed one a while back. The carbs (48's) are genuine, Spanish made I think, Webers, the linkage is Empi. The linkage I got had some problems but this was one of the first kits I saw...maybe they have solved some problems. Take seriously the recommendation to take the carbs apart, clean, adjust, reassemble....it will save you time and fustration in the long term....

So actually the carbs are Weber then ,huh? Coming from EMPI I thought they were some Oriental Weber knock-off.....

I have heard they were Oriental sourced, don't know but that sounds about right.

THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA -SAYS RIGHT ON THEM WORK FINE ON A 2110. 44'S

I strongly recommend that you stay with GENUINE WEBERS, do not mess with the far east copies.
