I need leads for huntin' down some new wheels for my 911.
I went off-roading avoiding a deer Friday. I went a little this way, and then a litttle that-a-way, then all around once and up an embankment backwards, managing to stay out of any oncoming traffic, missing the deer and driving away once all the commotion stopped.

Then when I got to my next stop I saw what happened to my wheels.

I'm looking for Fuchs or BBS lace. 16"x8" for my fronts, 16"x10" for the rears. Any help greatly appreciated. The car goes over to the shop on Tuesday for an under-carriage once over.

Fucking Bambi.

Thankzzz Guys,

Naturally it is a holiday weekend and none of the regular joints are open, save on-line, so I have managed a baseline cost.

I found a set of BBS like what I have for $1500 but the centers are red...a little whor-ish even for me! I'll be movin' through the list of suppliers like pork through a goose come tomorrow. Anyone know if it's true Fuchs only came as wide as 9" & 7" ? I couldn't remember what my old stockers were on the turbo as I had replaced them with centerlines that were also 8"s & 10"s like these bent BBS'

Oh, laundry day was nothing unusual, but thanks for the concern, it happened so fast that I can't take much credit for skill over whatever! Now I know where that phrase came from, " blah, blah, blah, I didn't know whether to shit or go blind!"
Fortu-neatly neither...course I haven't mentioned the incident to my significant other, so I'm not out of the woods yet...she'll side with the deer!
My dear Mr. Harford. On behalf of us all, I want to thank you for your genuine concern for me and all of my family members. Your actions indicate that you chose life and limb of your four-legged bretheren over the wicked mechanical contrivances you two-legged creatures carry yourselves around in. It was a stellar performance at the wheel.
Yours truly
F***in' Bambi

ps. I'm glad you were unhurt
Thanks again,
Wheelenhancement has held a special place in my 'saved files' for some time now. Based on the price quotes, I say they to are a dealer for HRE... I was assured by the guy on the phone their wheels are worth the wait... That's a pretty telling comment, guess if I want to get some driving in this summer I better look elsewhere!
Come on Paul...get those rotors redrilled for Honda rims and put some nice 20" wheels on it. Then, if you have an money left over, get some neon lighting to go along the bottom of the car....oh yea, and don't forget the fart-can exhaust (nothing to do with you and chilli).
Ron
Glad I could help!
Night before last the stepson's Honda konked out at a local drive-thru. His mother and I went through the typical hoops adjusting our work schedule to get him on his way to work the following morning...We of course are car pooling & our remaining vehicle is my truck.
We were waitin' alongide the Honda and the tow truck driver pulls up and of course he recognizes me, waves, and proceeds to line up on the VW truck.

I tell him not this time, but soon I should know what's what with my 911. He says, "Hmmmm, have I towed that one for ya?"

It's not good to be on a first name basis with the local tow company.
Dear Fau-Q'ing Bambi,
Because I swerved to miss you and 'collided' with the roadside, I will be assessed a point against my driving record, losing my good driver's discount.

Be forwarned, next time it's your ass.

It seems that had I hit you,(or you ran into me) it would have been a comp claim as opposed to a collision claim. It wouldn't have mattered to me, I'd have been dented but you'd a been dead, tick-bag!
