Took my car for its annual MOT inspection & passed ! but I was told it had a rumbling front wheel bearing ? took it out seemed ok or should I replace it?

It may appear ok (check for gouges etc.) but pronounced while under load.... cheap to change it and have peace of mind...being sure to properly grease the bearing prior to installing it. ~Alan
I agree.
bearings are cheap, grease is cheap, spindles are not
......and being broke down on the side of the road sucks.
Oliver.......I'm probably behind the curve on this, but there are two (2) bearings involved on each spindle.....Replace both... 8 - )
And the bearing races that they run in/on. Use quality bearings - either OEM or an name brand. A bearing packer will ensure grease gets to center of bearings although hand packing can work if you take time to ensure it is done completely.
If bearings are burned blue, rusty brown or lumpy (not brown) they are long gone.
