In an earlier post there was talk of wheel and rim modifying. Someone was kind enough to email me off forum to let me know who they used... I have lost access to my older saved files and need to get a fresh perspective...

I do remember our member has an outlaw I believe and the wheel man was talkative.

I have a new (to me) set of three piece wheels that need to made a little less wide.

Thanks in advance,
P.

Paul, I've used "Stockton Wheel " for making wider, and narrower. They actually build, and alter anything you've got. They changed the offset on my wheels "Chromies", and only charged $60.00 per wheel. And yes they are in downtown Stockton, by the waterfront.

So Gary, that means that they can take a 15" wide five and widen it to a 10" or 12"? My friend JJ has a nice old Manx and was looking for those type of wheels to be able to put on chrome moonie hubcaps for that '60's vintage look. Could you get us their contact info? Thanks!
Ricardo, yep....thats what it means. In the old days they would just cut the lip off, weld in a 2,4,6, inch band...and reweld the lip on. Now they remove very carefully the center, and reweld it into a 10" outer rim, and position the center in whatever "offset" that you desire...Simple and cheep
