My dad just bought a 74 911 on eBay. It came with polished fuchs, but it also came with a set of Porsche "phone dial" wheels that he has no use for. Has anyone ever put phone dials on a speedster (not wide body)?

I thought the phone dial wheels were just used on the 924/944/928 -- and not the 911? Had a friend with them on his 944 --- fronts were 7" and rears were 8" wide. Those on the 928 were 16" vice 15" from what I recall. Without getting a narrower front axel even with the narrowest rim and appropriate tire suspect it would be not possible in a non-flared vehicle.
