If anyone is looking for them, cip1.com is having a wheel sale.

They call them 3-fifty-6 wheels, but we know them as Vintage 190. Aluminum copies of wide 5. 100 for 4.5" and 110 for 5.5". Free shipping. That's a really good deal if you're in the market.

They also have the same wheel in 17 x 7 with 20mm backspacing. It weighs 18 pounds(as it should, that's a lot of metal to make a big wheel) instead of 10 pounds for the 15 inches. But for $180 a piece, one could put 215/45R17 sticky tires on there and hoon very well indeed. If they clear the trailing arm....

There is no way to fit them on the front of a Spyder, but if I could, I might. The back would fit with 20mm spacers and LONG studs. But, the front limits things.

20mm backspacing, or ET 20? (Or -20)

I’m waiting for my buddy to measure his 4.5”. I have exactly zero room on my original Brazilian Mangels. I’m concerned that, all things being equal, even the extra thickness of the flange on a Vintage 190 would be a deal breaker. The critical dimension for me is the distance between the mounting surface and the outside edge of the wheel. Backspacing, not so much.

David, if you still have stock drums I think the 4.5" will work in the front, ET 32 or 3.5" backspacing. The tire still sits in the same place regardless the width of the rim or flange. But, check with Carey and company on your Beck.

Lenny's early Vintage has the 4.5 V190 on CSP discs which increase track by 3/8" per side and his fit.

I have a 2016 Vintage with a 2" narrowed beam, but I have Airkewld discs which add 3/4" per side, mine fit nicely. Granted I have 1/4" of space you don't.
