wheel size help please

on a 56 356 cmc flaired what size wheel will fit front and rear.type 3 rear drums--------giha front disk.has anyone tried douglas cms or michelle aluminum wheels,if so what is min offset ,and standard offset.whats best in my case?thanks for any help you can provide.e-mail me at ( oldvolkshm@aol.com) kennystoy

Sorry for the delay Kenny. Man I've been swamped. On one CMC-C I run the 16 Porsche Fuch wheels. I have adapter plates and an additonal 1/2 spacing up front (total 1.25") to space the wheels out to fill the wheel wells on the disc front end. On the drum rear I have only the adapter plates (.75"). I run 205/50/16 front and 225/50/16 rear. They are the Fuchs 6 inch front and 7 inch rear.

On the other CMC-C I run 15 inch Centerlines, 6 front and 7" rear. 205/50/15 front and 225/50/15 rear.

Both are slammed. I think I'm going to reindex the rear to raise them about 1.5 inchs soon.
