Wheel Skinz Obsession

I’d like the front aluminum drum covers (aka “wheel skinz”) to look more authentic. The real ones have the hub covers showing through on both sides, with the speedometer cable tip and cotter pin sticking out on the left. The skinz only suggest this with smooth black mounds. Has anyone modified their skinz to make it look more like the originals?

As an alternative, I’ve seen late model 356's with a rubber cap that covers the hub covers. This would work, but I have no idea where to find them. Any suggestions?

Oh... Okay so on my fronts I maksed and painted the nipple part with rubberized tool dip paint. I used matte black. Looks like rubber.

I thought about this once then gave up the idea but if you can get 4 rear drum skins instead of 2 fronts and 2 rears, you could take a pair of the rears and epoxy wheel hub caps from pretty much any older rwd car in the skin and it would look more realistic.
