Are you suffering from front fender surface cracks from the underside of the fender over the wheel that appears as cracks in the surface? Do you know what that is? My car is still in the body shop, the guy told me that this is caused from a stone being kicked up by the tire and hitting the underside of the fender. He used to manufacture Kenworth trucks and they had this problem as well. What is needed is to either insert a plastic fender inside or a thick goop of tar. He is going to cut and install fenders in my car, no charge!

Mike;
These stone"stars" have plauged streetrodders for a long time with
both steel and glas' fenders mainly because on most 30's cars the
fenders hang off the body,over the wheel,with no type of inner fender
panel for deflection. MY 33'Ford cabriolet has glas' fenders that I
coated with Rhino lining. The car has been on the road for 6yrs. and
22,000 mi. with no staring or cracking. I brushed it on and I'm quite
sure results would be as good on a glas' speedster.
