Anyone have some input on this topic. I'm looking at wheels to fit wide five discs.

How about pictures of magnesium wheels and Bivens wheels. Anyone have some?

I have seen some photos of the Bivens wheels on several of the guys builds, any they are sweet. They seem to be about $400 to $600 a set more than the Magnesium wheels.

Spyder sports had the magnesium wheels advertised at about $500 per wheel. I was just wondering what they really looked like. Can you gets super hubcaps or moons for the magnesium ones?

Hi Bob.

I have also wondered what the mag wheels looked like. Weight and price are competitive with the Bivens. I think there was a discussion on the 356R about the merits of each wheel... (do a search for Bivens). I'd like to see what the mags look like if you get some pics.

It's hard for me to give an objective eval of the Bivens beyond looks.. I do know that my IM tracks like it's glued to the road and seems to roll out nicely with the gears and torque... but that's subjective (I love it). The numbers on the 356R are for a steel car and brakes, (unsprung weight...) but with the CB AL Brakes and Bivens, it sure feels good on the road and I am guessing there is a positive effect on handling. I do like the Bridgestone RE950s FWIW.
