If you're pushing the rims out 1" all around AND I'm assuming, from your Avatar, that you have a flared-fendered car, you can use something like an adapter from Pelican Parts.  They're not cheap at about $100 per wheel, but they're Machined, Billet aluminum and very good.

I guess my first question would be, What are you trying to accomplish?  Go from one bolt pattern to another, or keep the same bolt pattern and space the wheels outward to fill the fender openings?  If you're keeping the same pattern and going outward, then a spacer, not adapter, is needed.  Same deal - go to Pelican.  They have those too, from 1/8" up to 2".  Depending on which one you choose, you may or may not need longer studs.  Wade through their web site and see what they've got.  Go here, and search for P/N HR-5695716

That's if you want to keep your new wheels.  The other alternative would be to go to different wheels with the outward spacing you need, or wider rims, or both.  Whether you go to different rotors/drums remains to be seen.

Keep asking questions and giving us more info.  We'll all figure this out, eventually.

You guys are awesome I appreciate it. To answer everyone at once.

1.I have front discs.

2. I'm looking at new rims w a polished outer lip and a chevy bolt pattern.

3. The front wheels will need to be pushed out about an inch and a quarter and rears about 3/4

4. I wouldn't mind converting the rear to discs at this time if someone had a recomendation.

* So if I've learned from everyone correctly: A) I'm buy 5 bolt rotors for new rims. B) ordering longer studs. C) ordering the good Billet spacers that I need, and I should be good?

Yeah, pretty much.

Just be aware that most of the disk brake conversions add 3/8" - 1/2" to the track width, so that will factor in if you're going the spacer route.  Get the rear disk conversion on, mount the wheels directly to the rotors and then figure out what additional width you'll need from the spacers.

OK?

Pelican can get you spacers in increments of 1/8" out to 2+ inches.
