i have a cmc flared and am wondering if i can go with 17 inch wheels with low pros. i might lower front end with drop 2.5" with spindles instead of cuttind beam and turning torsion bar. any suggestions i will use porcshe bolt pattern 5+130 with disk brake kit up front and probably use adapter plate in rear.

Do a search and you'll find several flared owners have done this.
My favorite was Gerd's dead fat boy.
Loved the looks of that car.
