Sounds great!!! Your build inspired my to add a water to air intercooler to my setup while the transmission was being rebuilt. I copied some of what you had done as it took a lot of the guesswork out of it. I did add a 2.8 gallon reservoir up front for added capacity.

At the same time, I'm adding the super squish pistons from ACN, increasing CR from 8.63 to 9.2:1 and ID1000 injectors with a few other goodies. Looking to get out of the 15psi zone and head for the 20's and if I'm good enough with the tune it'll all be on pump gas though I will still continue to run the methanol injection system.

56 Speedster,
If you going to go north of 15 psi you better power sleeve and or add a couple of more studs to keep the heads on the motor. With that CR and the boost you want to use it is going to put a ton of stress on the top end. And then your going to use pump gas..... WOW, now your are inspiring me......

Chip Birks is running a setup almost identical to mine and has run 24psi on pump gas. The SS pistons make all the difference in the world compared to the flat top pistons. I've run 18psi on occassion but am looking forward to 20+. Paying attention to the little details (just like you do) is what really makes it all possible.

I'm looking forward to having it back on the road in the next couple of weeks. Trans arrived yesterday and is reinstalled now. I have a few things left to do on the engine and am waiting on a new gas strut for the engine lid that I want to install before I put the engine back in as it is much easier to work on with it out. Once I get it all together, all I will have left to do is paint the new engine lid, do a bit of tuning and hit the streets. I've noticed a new ZR1 cruising around and would like to run it up to 120-130 to see how the new mods perform.
