Stan, can we start another thread so you can explain the purpose of 911 oil squirters and coating on the pistons/heads.
My new heads have arrived and the engine will be coming apart in the next few weeks. I'm interested in anything than will make my engine more reliable/durable.

What ever engine you get,make sure to check the oil and keep the revs UNDER 4K on the freeway!! And when little lights come on the dashboard itis time to PULL OVER......Like others have said,a high performance engine isn't "more reliable" it has more of a chance of problems than what you had in there. BTW what was the prognosis on your other motor? What happened to it? I remember something about a oil leak? This is one reason you have to check the oil every time you take it out.
