Where do I find Square Weave Carpet.

Looking for Oatmeal colored square weave carpet for new Speedster project.

I used the VS carpet kit the last time, but I was a little higher grade carpet this time.

You could probably ask Vintage about what higher grade carpet that is available?? Also I have seen carpet sets offered by Mid America Motorworks.

I have heard that the two factories in Germany were both flooded and the carpet is available from a source in England but at a high cost. I recently visited SEWFINE in Denver Co, they do have a few sources and a bit on hand. Phone;1-800-sewfine, they did my last speedster and currently redoing my 78 IM resto.

California Pacific/ JBugs (jbugs.com, 800-231-1784) has square-weave available by the yard in their catalog. It's listed as coming in 48" widths, and is available in Oatmeal, Brown, Salt and Pepper, Black, and Red.

I did carpet for the blue speedster that is in my files , cutting each individule piece from a running yard roll and using an old CMC carpet set as a pattern.

What a pain time wise...best to buy it already done.

I know of a UK supplier if anyone cannot source in the USA - just bought some last week for my own car.
