Paging Mr. Hesch!! Mr. Hesch to the white courtesy phone please!!
Hey Guys, sorry for my absence but this is our "harvest season" and we're making hay while the sun's shining.
I've invented three bass-fishing (not bass-the instrument, but bass-the fish) products and from February through August of each year, we make most of our income building and shipping them, all over the world.
So...the car's in limbo, sitting and most likely feeling neglected, as well it should. Jonathon's been very patient with me, probably a trait he inherited from his car racer/builder father.
My wife, on the other hand, is urging me to get greasy again and get the thing on the road.
I need to crawl underneath, pull out the oil/air pre-heater VS so considerately put in a spot only an Oompa Loompa could reach, and install a decent oil cooler in a spot where it will actually receive cooling air (original idea, don't copy me!)
So that's my story and I'm sticking to it....loosely, anyway...
Robert, Tebs, thanks for caring!
Very Cool!
That Bac Rac is great idea - I've stepped on and broken a few poles that just lay on deck.
Cool stuff Will.
What type of plastics does Mend-it work on? Seems there might be uses beyond fishing lures.
Danny likes to drive barefoot. Maybe you can sell him a CoolFoot for his new Spyder. ;-)
Or maybe Danny could use "Mend-It" to securely glue his foot to the accelerator!
Hey Will, does that adhesive glue skin too, it could be used to mend your cuts while on the water...
You were quite active right at the start and through your build then you just stopped. Wondered what happened.
Glad to know it wasn't due to a tragedy, just work. Good to know it's all okay.
Are we going to see you in SLO June 24th-26th?
Mend-it only adheres soft plastic (baits) to soft plastic, that's the beauty of it. It's not a cyanoacrylate (super-glue) like all of the other "fishing glues". It won't stick to anything but soft plastic and it cures soft, clear and strong, "as good as new"! www.mend-it.com
Kathy and I will be there in June!
Boy I need something like that to glue leather
