Where to Attach a Tow Hook?

Either lower front trailing arms or direct to the beam.

I would wrap an axle strap over the beam and attach the hook to the two ends of the axle strap. I use these on the front beam whenever I trailer my Speedster.

Attach the strap to both beams (that hold torsion bars) or to just one?

The bottom one is sufficient. It's a better angle forward, less chance of touching any bodywork.

I use those same straps as Robert on my Spyder, but on the lower trailing arms. The beam isn't accessible on the Spyder due to the aluminum belly pan.

What Danny said. Bottom beam keeps it away from other stuff.
