I am having trouble finding where to9 buy the crush washers that go undr the oil drain plug on my Type IV.
Everyone seems to be out of stock.
Anyone know where I shopuld try to buy these?

I have a couple in my type 1 oil change gasket kits I won't be using. I don't know if they would fit your type iv but contact me with your address via the dialog button and I'll mail them if you want them.
Try your local auto parts store. A good parts guy should be able to come up with a crush washer to fit.

Ted--many thanks for your very kind offer. I'm thinking that your washers are the little ones---the ones where 5-6 go onto the oil screed studs.
I bought some from the place Scott suggested--they are for 2 lited Type IV engines so I know they're the ones.
