What I experienced was they fit, but were loose (some rattled) and it was clear they would easily come off.  I had read that some other people also experienced this and while they returned them, I just took some water pumps and bent the rim a little bit.  They now are tight and I've not had any problems with them coming off.

How many do you need?  I have 1 20 year old one on my spare so like new.  I'm not sure if the crest says STUTTGART or is plain in the middle. Attach is I think a picture of 1 I have.   Mine might be flatter where the nipple part is.

You can buy ones from CIP1 with an EMPI or WOLFSBURG Crest and swap out the emblems too.

I recently ordered a set of the nipple caps from Socal, and it's a much longer story than I would have liked.

I have a 2013 VS, which came with the four-lug chrome repop Chinese wheels VS is using now that new Mangel wheels are no longer available. I ordered nipple caps from Kirk, but they weren't available from Kirk's usual supplier back in July, so the car was delivered with baby moons.

I looked around and couldn't find the nipple caps anywhere - including Socal, but a month or so later, Socal got them back in stock and I ordered a set.

When they arrived, the 'Porsche' crests (minus the word 'Porsche') were bagged separately. The customer has to attach them to the plain caps. I did this and headed out to the garage. But the caps didn't fit my wheels - they were just a tad too small. They seemed to go on, but would pop right off with a light tug and would certainly have flown off if I'd tried to drive with them that way. And yes, I ordered the caps for four-lug wheels.

When I returned the caps, Socal at first refused to accept them, claiming I had 'modified' them by attaching the crests and had thus created a product they could not resell. After some haggling, they finally agreed to accept them, but I had to pay for return shipping and also pay a 10 per cent 'restocking' fee.

When I mentioned this to Kirk, he explained that they've had hubcap problems with the wheels they currently use and have had to special order caps that will fit from their supplier. The baby moons that came with the car fit fine, but Kirk still didn't have nipple caps that fit as of a few months ago.

You may remember Annaliese's tales of flying hubcaps sometime last year before Kirk had figured out a solution.

I'm guessing if you have Mangel wheels that Socal's caps will fit, but I'd order just one first to be sure and confirm their return policy before ordering.

Interesting... my VS is a 2004 and the wheels are the chrome 4 lug.

Not sure where they fall in to place based on that information.

I cannot remember if my crests have the word Porsche or not, I'll have to re-check when I get home (didn't even think about that).

I think VS switched to the Chinese wheels some time in 2012 - probably about the time Annaliesa got her car.

Kirk told me that when they heard Mangel was closing up shop, VS bought out all their available stock so they would have been delivering new cars with Mangels for some time after that.

I wonder where other makers are sourcing four-lug wheels these days and if they have similar problems with aftermarket hubcaps.

Got my caps from So CA and they appear to be the exact ones I had (Cool)

After installing the crests which where not attached, they snapped on the 4 lug wheels with ease (my old one must have been out of round).

They snapped on tight and snug. No looseness at all.

Again, my VS was built in 2004 so I guess I got lucky with the wheels with them not being the cheap Chinese ones.

Just wanted to share.
