Which fiberglass product to use for fender | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I had to sand away about a half inch on one part of the fender and was wondering what the best product is to use for that. I am worried that if I just throw some regular bondo on there it will just break off later. Should I use something like kitty hair?

If you can hold that little critter still while you shave her....I would use fiber glass

actually laying sheets or the kitty hair stuff?

Fiberglass matt & resin (I have used the stuff from HD for years) on top of thoroughly roughened raw glass that has been thoroughly cleaned of all dust and loose material.

Grind to the rough shape with 80 grit and finish with Rage Gold.

Just my 40% of a nickel.
